I'm starting to think there's something extremely masochistic about being a leftist in this country. You have to reallly appreciate irony, horrifying facts, and occasionally, like today, completely bizarro lack of intelligence:
WASHINGTON, Sept. 10 — Invoking the memories of Sept. 11, 2001, President Bush prodded Congress today to "untie the hands" of law enforcement and enact broader search-and-seizure powers and wider use of the death penalty to combat terrorism."The House and Senate have a responsibility to act quickly," Mr. Bush said at the F.B.I. Training Academy in Quantico, Va. "Untie the hands of our law enforcement officials so they can win the war."
