Ice-T, one of the pioneers of 'gangsta' rap, told AP 'The man is a legend. We are going to show a whole new side of him.' The unlikely duo are near neighbours in Los Angeles and have struck up a close friendship. Ice is convinced medallion-man Hasselhoff can take on the biggest names in rap. He said from a New York hotel: 'He’s gonna come out as Hassle The Hoff. The Hoff will surprise people with his rap skills and humour.'”
